For me at least.

Just what in the heck am I talking about? College sports. College sports has totally abandoned the concept of the student athlete. It all started more than three decades ago with the obscene amounts of money pouring into tv rights.

You know with the athletes pretty much becoming employees of the college, maybe it’s time to introduce “contracts”.

For me, I had long ago abandoned watching pro, then most college, and now I think that my beloved Auburn is on the list. There is no loyalty to the school, only a drive for more and more money on both the part of the athletes and the schools.

 

 

As you read the local Alabama news

Those such as the news aggregator Al.com or other local Alabama media as they keep up a steady drumbeat against Senator Tuberville (R,Al), keep in mind they are preparing the information space for his opponent in his next election cycle.

My bet is it will be a rematch between Tuberville and Doug Jones. Doug Jones. As you may vaguely recall, Doug Jones was elected as a Senator to represent  Alabama in an election that was tainted by the use of fake Russian bots. As you read the links below, note how everybody was careful not to use “Democrats”.  The use of the fake Russian bots was by  nobody. Doug Jones was outraged. Alabama Democrats said they knew nothing about it. The claim by democrat operatives it was not intentional. There was no investigation, no penalties, no one paid a price, Nobody Knew nothing.  It was just quietly acknowledged and swept into the memory hole.

Senator Britt should have signed on to United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) Accountability and Transparency Act. The jury is still out on her as a Senator despite the puff pieces on Al.com, a Alabama news aggregator.

Senator Tuberville is a co-sponsor, so kudos to him for that along with his other principled work.

A Reminder

No matter how conservative your democrat is, the power lies with the committee chairman. The Democrat party is far left wing, kinda socialist, fascist in nature, especially among the senior members who head the committees.

I never ever would vote for a democrat. Now, that doesn’t mean I always vote republican. I would sit out an election if faced by a choice of a democrat and a rino.

I would vote for Senator Tuberville in Alabama.

Senator Britt, I’m not sure about yet. She was the protégée of that supreme trough feeder, former Senator Shelby.

Mike Rogers? Lol, a social conservative and a fiscal liberal.

Want a good conspiracy theory? This is from a series of messages I sent to a friend who tolerates my off the wall thoughts. Slightly updated

Looking over the worlds state of affairs, I see a disaster lurking.
a.     China, Russia, Venezuela, North Korea and Iran partner up
b.     Our borders are porous and thousands of military age men are pouring across our borders. Biden is currently giving priority to Venezuelans. Thousands of Chinese and Iranian allies are coming
c.      Antifa, natural allies of the above are currently keeping their heads down
d.     The US and Europe are being drained of weapon systems and ammunition to the Ukrainian.
e.     China’s navy, air service, industrial base and manpower far exceeds the West.
f.      Our military is a paper tiger
g.     Our fuel stockpile is gone.
So what happens
1.     North Korea attacks South Korea. The US pivots to protect our Ally as does Japan.
2.     A week or so later, (1 and 2 could be reversed) China launches an attack followed by a blockade of Taiwan cutting off our supply of high speed chips
3.     China’s forces spread out in the Pacific, and Indian Ocean
4.     India, never an ally of the west, declares neutrality.
5.     The Fifth column in the US starts attacking infrastructure here while the Muslims in Europe do the same.
6.     China gives the Russians weapons in the form of a lend-lease
7.     Ukraine starved of weapons is taken over and Russia pivots towards Europe
8.     Venezuela starts trouble in South America
9.      The Middle East blows up
10.     The remaining American fleet is destroyed by the vastly numerical superiority of the Chinese forces or withdrawn to protect our borders
10.  The US is subjected to a blockade
11.  With our industrial base in disarray, we can’t rebuild
 12. Our governing system collapses, a revolution occurs. Here are 2 possible outcomes, neither good for the average citizen. a socialist government or a far far right. My main bet is a socialist quasi fascist    Yes, I know that’s pretty much what we have now. But this will be much more extreme
Timing
I’m of two schools of thought here
Biden, the democrats and the left are either in the pay or dupes and are useful idiots right now’s. If the attack happens in a Republican administration, they will bear the blame of the disaster, rightly or wrong. Both parties are responsible in their own way.
Or
The attack happens near the next election, throwing chaos into the process. This is the one that I favor.
i see a forced withdrawal of our navy to our shores with no nukes unless invasion which will not be needed. We will be isolated and no help for anyone

fuel will become an issue. I’d use the fifth column on at least 2 fronts in a lightning attack, infrastructure and refineries

The Reason FSU Didn’t

make the playoffs is simple. The Powers that Be wanted Alabama in.

They couldn’t put Alabama in without Texas since Texas beat Bama in Tuscaloosa. So, they had to drop Georgia and FSU out to make room for Alabama.

Alabama almost lost to a 6-5 Auburn team. It took two mistakes by Auburn. A muffed punt and a ridiculous pass rush by two players.

It should have been Texas and FSU. FSU was robbed.

Or is it something more sinister?

Did it come out of the Skunk Works?

Who will be the arbitrator of what is real and what is fake? The Deep State?

Will AI make the Deep State both the creator and the arbitrator of “misinformation” depending on the Deep States needs and desires?

Since much of the Deep State is now firmly in the hands of fascist left of the Democrat party, will it be brought to bear on the middle to the conservative factions?

Will AI be used to provide cover for the democrats?
